Telugu Association Netherlands (TANE), a non-profit and non-political organization founded in 2012 is the first Telugu association in the Netherlands. TANE’s main objective is to create a platform for the Telugu speaking people in Netherlands to connect, socialize and celebrate by being together.

TANE’s motive is to promote Telugu culture and heritage with children of the current generation who have been living away from the ‘Telugu Soil’ (తెలుగు నేల) filled with family values, spirituality, self-esteem and pride.

TANE has distinguished itself through its various activities in the form of promoting Telugu culture and serving the community.

Promote Telugu cultural identity through various events, activities and entertainment Celebrate Telugu Festivals offering the rich experience of Telugu authenticity and atmosphere Promote Spirituality by organizing events like Balaji Kalyanam Invite eminent Telugu singers, musicians, dancers and other eminent artists to savor the brilliance of Telugu culture.

Arts to the local Dutch community Organize TANE ‘మన బడి’ to teach Telugu language to children helping them deepen bonds with their family, community, and heritage Assist in integrating with Dutch society and provide basic information like schooling, accommodation, jobs, etc for the newcomers and those who have been living in Netherlands Raise charities concerning various purposes for the social cause Serving ‘జన్మభూమి’ during any calamities by raising funds through charity Organize ‘Sports Day’ to promote healthy lifestyle and include sports in one’s daily routine.
